Taking Every Thought Captive

What thoughts are you thinking? 🤔
You wouldn't let every stranger who knocks on your door walk into your house. So why let every thought that enters your mind move in and make itself at home?
Not every thought deserves your attention. Not every thought is telling you the truth.
Complaining won't clear the traffic. Worry won't pay the bills. Replaying painful conversations won't heal your heart.
The Bible tells us to "take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ"Â (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Today, be intentional about what you allow to dwell in your mind. Filter your thoughts through God's Word and choose to focus on what is true, honorable, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy.
"Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life." — Proverbs 4:23
"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable... dwell on these things." — Philippians 4:8
✨ Guard your mind. Renew your thoughts. Transform your life.
